Stanford University on iTunes
Stanford University and Apple have partnered to launch a free service called Stanford on iTunes. This service allows students, alumni and the public to download free Stanford University related audio content via an iTunes Music Store interface.
The audio content available to be downloaded include :
- music performed by the students
- faculty lectures
- written works read by the students
- sports updates
- special works grouped into themed areas such as arts, environment, health and international issues
I think it is great that the university is forging ahead with the adoption of this new platform for information dissemination.
