Supermoon 2012, Mount Hamilton
My original plan was to try to capture the supermoon rising behind the Lick Observatory, which is on the ridge, to the left of this scene. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the alignment correct. Luckily there was some foreground interest to allow me to re-compose the scene.
